Is it easier for teens to lose weight than adults?

I’m 14 and 150 lbs my best friend cant even tell that I’m that heavy though. i was just curious if teens could lose weight faster than an adult because I see all those commercials for weight loss pills and it takes those adults a long time to lose weight. I mean I dont want the pills…I want to lose weight the right way….but I was just wondering?

    yes…its harder to lose the weight when you are an adult particularly if you are over 30….metabolism slows down after your 20’s…add to that stress and bad eating habits…at 14, it should be easy for you to lose the weight…eat right…dont diet yourself to death(yoyo dieting is a no-no…it only helps you to gain more weight)…its better to eat 6 small meals a day (esp. fruits and vegetables) than eating 3 full meals…digestion is better this way…walking is also the best exercise…climb the stairs instead of using the lift or the escalator…it strengthens your legs and shapes your ****…

    yes teens metabolism is alot faster than an adults. I used to weigh size 1-2 when I was 14/15 and when I got a little older I started gaining weight. I never used to have to exercise when I was younger, now it’s best for me to exercise and watch what I’m eating. But like the other person said, good eating habits and exercise regimen will get you to what you want and keep you there.

    Definitely. Teens have so much energy. It’s easy for them to keep moving to drop the pounds. When you get older, your body changes and you have to do three times as much work to lose that dreaded pound.

    From my experiences…it is easier…but anyway “healthy food and jogging” is key answer in both cases…just when older it can takes you a little bit longer…but you just have to decide and not give up…

    OMG If you are having problems with weight control at 14 just wait until you get to 30. It gets much harder and harder to weight control as you get older. You are destined to be a fatty. I could NOT put weight on if I tried when I was 14. Now if I LOOK at a McDonald’s meal I will put 5 pounds on.
